Facing South,
Tel Aviv

Oil on wood

Painted from my balcony, facing south over Tel Aviv, this view has become part of my daily rhythm.
The rooftops, the towers rising in the distance, the way the sky holds it all together at the end of the day.

The city is always shifting—vibrant, restless, and alive.
People here are warm, hot-headed at times, but deeply warm-hearted.
It’s a place that’s taught me to see beauty in resilience, in contradiction, in change.

This painting was inspired by the quiet intensity of Antonio López García’s urban landscapes.
Seeing his work in person was a true privilege.

Tel Aviv is always building, always changing.
New towers are already planned on this horizon.
This moment, this version of the city—it won’t last.
But painting it is my way of holding onto it just a little longer.
