Father and Daughter

Oil on canvas

A quiet moment between a father and his young daughter, surrounded by the scattered pieces of play. What drew me to paint this was not a story, but the way light fell across the room — how shapes, shadows, and gestures slowly became familiar: a hand, a toy, a rocking chair. In the end, a painting is just color and form — its meaning unfolds in the eye of the beholder. Whether it speaks of parenthood, memory, or something else entirely, I leave that to you.
